Description / Special Requirements A Reception area for the Emergency Unit where patients/ visitors can be received, located in close proximity to Triage and waiting areas. The Reception should have observation of the main entry to the Unit and Waiting areas. Access will be required for patients with disabilities. Additional Design Requirements: - Security features and glazing may be required depending on a security risk assessment - Consideration should be given to patients with hearing disabilities - Consideration should be given to privacy of patient information at the reception desk
